Gymnastic

In bringing up an all round development, extracurricular activity programs are done in our school. According to the age and interest of students various Extracurricular activities are taught  by well trained professionals. This enables every child to find her or his potential, develop confidence, self respect and budding passion. It also expands their network which is beneficial for finding career opportunities after graduation.

Our Activities

Gymanstic

The reason why we teach Gymnastics for our school kids is to develop confidence and capability.

Gymnastics teaches the fundamental movement and sports skill to every kid in our school. Fundamental movement skills include skills like climbing, swinging, balancing and landing. It develops the ABCs of athleticism: agility, balance, coordination and speed.

When our kids learn these skill, they are developing physical literacy. We agree that physical literacy is just as important to a child’s development as learning to read and write.

Children who are physically literate feel more confident in their ability and will be more willing to engage in physical activity. As a result they are more likely to be Active for Life. When children are active they achieve better grades in school, have better social skills. When we enroll our kids in gymnastics, we are helping them get the right start in sport, school and life!

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, GYMNASTICS IS FUN!

Karate

Martial Arts is a practice that develops: Character, humility, confidence, self esteem, self control, determination, patience, temperance and duty.

Karate teaches self-confidence and respect to students. When our student masters complex moves, stances, and fighting forms, he or she will know how to hold his or her own in any situation. Your child will set goals with each belt earned and learn how to achieve those goals, and in so doing, build valuable confidence.

Skating

Skating works the legs as the power through movement, while arms and core get a workout as they balance the body during the movement.
When our kids do skating it helps to improve balance with the strength of abdominal and lower-back muscles.
In addition to increasing muscle strength, roller skating can help increase muscle endurance for kids.
The calorie-burning benefits of roller skating add up quickly; kids can burn between 200 and 500 calories if they skate for a full hour.
Roller skating is one of the most fun workouts!

Yoga

Yoga makes students fit and flexible, helping them remain fit. Some particular asanas like suryanamaskara increase the blood flow to the brain, helping the brain to function better. Regularly practicing poses also helps students to concentrate better and train the body to do things. Yoga is being used by a growing number of youth and adults as a means of improving overall health and fitness.
